Becoming a Member of Shoreline Masonic Lodge

Membership Requirements:

To become a member of Shoreline Masonic Lodge, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a man of good character and reputation
  • Believe in a Supreme Being
  • Be at least 18 years of age (varies by jurisdiction)
  • Have a sincere desire to improve oneself and contribute to the community
  • Be recommended by a current Mason in good standing

Application Process:

  1. Express Your Interest: Reach out to us expressing your interest in becoming a member of Shoreline Masonic Lodge. You can do this by contacting our lodge secretary or submitting an inquiry through our website.

  2. Meet and Greet: We’ll arrange for you to meet with members of our lodge to learn more about Freemasonry, our lodge, and to answer any questions you may have. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better.

  3. Submit an Application: If you decide to proceed, you’ll be provided with an application form to complete. This form will require information about your personal background and reasons for seeking membership.

  4. Interview and Investigation: Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our lodge’s membership committee. They may conduct an interview with you and carry out a background investigation as part of the membership process.

  5. Ballot: Your application will be presented to the lodge members for a vote. If approved, you will be notified and invited to participate in our lodge’s initiation ceremony.

  6. Initiation: The initiation ceremony is a meaningful and symbolic experience that marks your entrance into Freemasonry and our lodge. It is a time-honored tradition that reflects our commitment to personal growth and enlightenment.
